Welcome to Day Dreaming Shop x Shannon's Pottery 山能作 & Atelier Christopher Chau, based in Hong Kong!
Embrace the charm of handmade pottery and curated Japanese handicrafts with me. With a myriad of hobbies and a profound love for travel and Japanese culture, I pour my heart into each pottery piece, aiming to sprinkle a little joy into your everyday.
Amidst a world driven by KPIs and mass production, I strive to preserve the art of craftsmanship—both in my own work at 山能作 and through the curation of masterworks by Christopher Chau. Every piece in the shop tells a story of patience, traditional skill, and the soulful touch of a genuine artisan.
Thank you for supporting handmade artistry and embracing the allure of unique creations. May these knick-knacks and Japanese treasures bring you moments of delight and connection. 🌸😊

Atelier Christopher Chau: A Legacy Preserved
While my personal work is born from a love of everyday joy, I am equally dedicated to preserving the history of Hong Kong’s ceramic heritage. I am honored to host the private archive of my teacher, Christopher Chau.
A master of the 1980s 'New Wave' ceramic movement, Christopher’s work represents 40 years of quiet mastery in the kiln. By archiving his collection and bringing his analog masterpieces into the digital world, I hope to share his story—and the unique alchemy of his crystalline glazes—with collectors worldwide.
