A Pig (and a Swirl!) ~ This little piggy is a modern twist on a traditional Japanese design. He's inspired by the "Kayari Buta," or "mosquito repellent pig." Historically, these ceramic pigs were a staple of Japanese summers, used to hold and burn mosquito coils. While we can’t promise he’ll fend off all the mozzies, his charming lineage makes him the perfect conversation starter. Plus, let's be honest, who doesn't want a cute ceramic pig? His playful, portly shape is a nod to a fun piece of cultural history, making him a perfect blend of cozy and cool.
Unlike my previous pieces, this little guy wasn't made on a pottery wheel. I built him by hand using the ancient coil method on a hand-wheel. This technique gives him a wonderfully imperfect, slightly spiraled body that feels alive with personality. I absolutely love how this spiral texture holds the glaze, allowing it to move and flow gracefully, creating a one-of-a-kind pattern that's totally unique to your pig.
His handle is a story of sustainable creation too! The rope handle is made from upcycled electrical wire, cleverly covered with natural jute rope. It’s a small detail with a big heart, proving that beauty can be found in the most unexpected places.

What is Return and Refund Policy?
All items are non-refundable except default or damaged item. We will not refund on any items that have been purchased over 30 days and without any email notice. For default or damaged items, please photograph the box, packing and damages and email us immediately. We will refund in 3 working days through Etsy Payment system. Do not throw the package away or any items until notified by us.
What is the International Delivery arrangement?
I ship every order within 3 working days via Hong Kong Post standard ~ e-Express service with tracking number. Your item will be normally arriving within 7-14 working days. You may trace the tracking on Hong Kong Post tracking system and your local office when the parcel is arrived to your country.
What is Local Delivery (in Hong Kong) Arrangement?
I ship every order within 3 working days via SF Express Courier. Delivery takes 1 to 2 working days. Please kindly double check the delivery address and it's a MUST to leave your phone number for shipment.
